County Lines and its director Henry Blake have been in the news over the last few months due to the films subject matter striking a chord with current affairs in London and afar. The abuse of inner-city teenagers through their use as drug dealers and mules across England is a topic close to Henry's heart and something he wanted to portray on film.
After a year of hard work, both from Henry and producers Victoria Bavister and David Broder the film has begun to shine a light on this ignored topic and brought it to the foreground of cultural discussion with articles in The Telegraph and Evening Standard newspapers and a radio interview with Rachael Venables on LBC radio.
