Shot over three years, the film follows Marty Reisman, a former international table tennis champion-turned-money player, as he deals with his past, declining fame, and his devoted wife Yoshiko's health. The film tells the story of one of America's most unconventional sports stars at a critical juncture in his life, whilst addressing his mortality, immortality and the pursuit of legacy and legend.
